Qualifications

• Essential: General Practice experience in areas such as blood pressure, phlebotomy, diabetes, immunisation, vaccinations, asthma, cervical smears, ECGs.
• Desirable: experience supervising or supporting other staff, plus ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for practice patients.
• Maintain accurate records of consultations and treatments.
• Provide nursing treatments independently or with others to agreed protocols.
• Support practice development and participate in screening and immunisation programmes.
• Ensure infection control, safety, confidentiality and data protection compliance.
