Job summary

Camberley Health Centre is seeking a Practice Nurse to join the primary care team. The role focuses on cervical screening, wound care, immunisations and health promotion, with duties supporting coil clinics and assisting GPs with minor surgery.

The post requires NMC registration and evidence of GP-practice experience. You will work autonomously within your scope, delivering vaccines, conducting health checks and contributing to chronic disease management.

Qualifications

• NMC registration
• Experience as a practice nurse within a UK GP practice
• Experience in primary care setting
• Experience delivering vaccination and immunisation programmes
• Experience of cervical cytology and chronic disease management

Responsibilities

• Cervical screening
• Wound care, including leg ulcers
• Adult and child immunisations and vaccination programmes
• Developing, implementing and embedding health promotion and wellbeing programmes
• Supporting coil clinics
• Assisting GPs with minor surgery
• Working autonomously within scope of practice
