Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst to support, maintain, and continuously improve General Practice applications and clinical systems across NHS Lanarkshire.

The role requires leading incidents, collaborating with GP Practices, suppliers and Digital Services teams to ensure high availability, performance and safety of patient information, including Vision Hosted, SCI Store and Adastra.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent in a computer-related discipline.
• Significant experience in a senior technical support management role in an IT department.
• Experience with enterprise RDMS such as Microsoft or Oracle.
• Experience with server operating systems from Microsoft.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Driving licence required (UK/EU).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support for GP Applications and clinical systems.
• Lead incidents, problems, and complex service requests.
• Monitor performance and ensure service availability.
• Develop and improve GP application services and documentation.
• Collaborate with suppliers and Digital Services teams on upgrades and changes.
