Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a senior Golang engineer to advance our integration platform. You will work on event-driven microservices with Kafka and AWS, driving architectural decisions and setting technical standards across teams.

You will mentor mid-level and junior engineers, collaborate with product and delivery teams, and contribute to performant, reliable production services on Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Golang.
• Experience with event-driven distributed systems (HTTP/REST, async messaging).
• Production AWS experience, on-call and observability practices.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Ownership beyond tickets and end-to-end thinking.
• Mentoring engineers and sharing learning.
• Clear communication and ability to explain technical ideas.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and applying them responsibly.
