Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a skilled engineer to work on Quicksilver, Cloudflare’s globally distributed key-value store. You will write Go features, review PRs, and help ensure edge data delivery is fast and reliable.

You’ll tackle challenging bugs at scale, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with a talented team to improve performance, monitoring, and reliability across the stack.

Qualifications

• Experience building robust distributed systems.
• Experience with storage/peer-to-peer systems.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and think creatively.
• Comfort with on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Develop features for Quicksilver in Go and review PRs.
• Improve performance and resource usage.
• Improve monitoring and tooling written in Go.
• Investigate and debug hard-to-reproduce issues.
