Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Systems Reliability Engineer (SRE) for our Edge platform. You will build and operate a globally distributed infrastructure, focusing on automation, reliability, and scale across more than 320 cities in over 120 countries.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in an SRE role or similar functions.
• Strong coding ability in Go or Python.
• Strong knowledge of networking, Linux, and TLS.
• Understanding of distributed software systems and large-scale design tradeoffs.
• Intermediate experience with DNS and HTTP protocols.
• Understanding of routing concepts such as BGP and IP anycast.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate Cloudflare's Edge platform across 320+ cities in 120+ countries.
• Develop tools to improve service availability, performance, and operational velocity.
• Automate systems and processes to scale reliability.
• Collaborate across teams to improve the glue between systems, network, and software.
