Cloudflare is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Load Balancing team. You will design, implement, and operate the software that powers a global edge network, running in Go and other languages, and working with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern data stores.

You will collaborate across security, network, SRE and product teams to build scalable, fault-tolerant systems. You will mentor colleagues, review code, and contribute to incident response and system health.

Formación

• Experience with Go, Rust, C++ in systems-level programming and distributed services.
• Proven ability to design and operate fault-tolerant distributed systems at scale.
• Strong mentoring, collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern Unix/Linux environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain Cloudflare’s Load Balancing software.
• Collaborate with security, network engineering, SRE, and product teams to scale solutions.
• Review peers’ work and mentor team members to improve reliability and performance.
• Debug complex production systems and monitor health using standard tooling.
