Job summary

Aztec Financial Services (UK) Limited is seeking an experienced fund accounting professional to carry out routine day-to-day accounting of fund structures under the direction of a Financial Reporting Manager.

You will bookkeep a complex range of funds, prepare investor reports and statutory financial statements, manage bank reconciliations, and mentor junior staff while contributing to a robust control environment. The role offers flexible hybrid working and supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Part qualified with ACCA/ACA in progress.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience in statutory financial statements is essential.
• Experience reviewing statutory accounts.
• Proficient in Excel and new systems.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeep a complex range of funds, management companies and structures.
• Prepare investor reports, statutory financial statements and respond to queries.
• Complete routine audit queries and liaise with clients.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Maintain records in eFront and Excel working papers.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Mentor junior staff under supervision.
