Job summary

Aztec Group in Southampton is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead fund accounting for a portfolio of structures and to mentor junior staff. The role involves complex LPA interpretation within accounting processes, and regular client communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in fund accounting and NAV calculations.
• Ability to interpret and apply LPA requirements to accounting processes.
• Experience assisting with complex audit queries.

Responsibilities

• Complete all aspects of accounting for a portfolio of fund structures, including equalisation and carry calculations.
• Interpret and apply more complex LPA requirements to accounting processes.
• Assist with completion of more complex audit queries.
• Take an increasing lead in regular client calls and correspondence.
• Undertake soft reviews of work produced by junior team members.
• Ensure internal control frameworks are followed and records maintained in systems and Excel.
