Job summary

Aztec Financial Services (UK) Limited is seeking a Senior Associate (Band 2) to own and develop expertise in accounting for fund structures, supporting both business growth and team initiatives. The role emphasizes mentoring newer team members, client correspondence, and contributing to process improvements.

The successful candidate will perform complex accounting tasks, apply LPAs accurately, and maintain robust control frameworks while benefiting from a flexible hybrid working arrangement and

Responsibilities

• Complete all aspects of accounting matters for a portfolio of fund structures, including the accurate preparation of equalisation and carry calculations
• Interpret and apply more complex LPA (Limited Partnership Agreement) requirements to accounting processes
• Provide assistance with completion of more complex audit queries
• Take an increasing lead in regular client calls and correspondence
• Undertake soft reviews of the work produced by more junior team members
• Ensure Aztec internal control frameworks are followed in full
• Maintain accurate records on internal systems and Microsoft Excel, working paper schedules for all aspects of accounting
• Deal with the preparation and reconciliation of periodic direct and indirect tax returns to the extent relevant
• Act as a mentor to junior staff under the supervision of senior staff
• Support with and/or complete fund administration processes as required
