Job summary

ALS Recruiting Ltd is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for Freight in the Greater London area. The role focuses on driving high-value new business opportunities, fostering senior-level relationships and shaping strategic growth in road, air or sea freight.

You’ll lead initiatives to identify opportunities, monitor market trends and report on expansions through new customers and services, contributing to the company’s next expansion phase.

Qualifications

• Proven experience selling Road, Air or Sea Freight at a senior level.
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of exceeding targets.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term strategic relationships.
• Proactive, self-starting attitude with strong leadership capability.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, face-to-face and via telephone.

Responsibilities

• Driving high-value new business opportunities in line with strategic growth targets.
• Building, developing and maintaining senior-level relationships with key decision-makers.
• Staying up to date with market trends, competitor activity and industry changes.
• Identifying, assessing and reporting opportunities for expansion through new customers, new routes and new service offerings.
