Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to improve security, release reliability, maintainability, and operational resilience of critical banking applications. You will lead hands-on engagements with development teams, define remediation approaches, implement changes, and enable client teams to sustain improved engineering practices.

The role blends senior software engineering, DevOps, SRE, test automation, application security, and legacy modernization, with approximately 70%

Qualifications

Hands-on software engineering with Java/JVM and TypeScript experience.
Experience in TDD, automated testing, CI/CD, and secure coding practices.
Ability to lead technical engagements and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead targeted engagements addressing security, testing, release, resilience with development teams.
Assess code, dependencies, runtime, test coverage, deployment architecture, CI/CD pipelines.
Write, debug, review production code and configuration.
Define modernization and remediation plans with priorities, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
Develop unit, integration, and deployment tests using TDD and automated pipelines.
Drive automation strategies and AI-assisted development approaches.
Containerize applications with Docker and deploy to OpenShift.
