Job summary

FINBOURNE Technology is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own client workstreams end to end, translating business problems into tailored LUSID/Luminesce solutions for hedge funds and financial clients.

You will combine hands-on software engineering with domain expertise, lead technical design, mentor junior engineers, and manage client relationships through delivery, testing, and rollout.

Qualifications

• Basic C# knowledge and understanding of OO concepts.
• Familiarity with command-line AI coding tools and a willingness to use them.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with root-cause tracing.
• Clear written and verbal communication, especially to non-engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design and delivery of a client workstream end to end.
• Translate client operating models into LUSID structures across asset classes.
• Debug across the full stack and identify root causes.
• Build and configure client solutions: data pipelines, Luminesce queries, workflows and config-driven deployments.
