Job summary

EY is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Developer to join our team in the UK. You will design, develop and implement AI agents and automation tools that drive innovation across our business.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, build LLM agents, and integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems while adhering to governance and security controls.

This role offers exposure to Power Platform, cloud services on Azure and AWS, and a path to influence how global clients realise value from AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Data Science/AI or related field.
• Proven AI developer experience with a portfolio of projects.
• Proficient in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
• Familiar with Power Platform (Power Apps/Automate/Pages/Dataverse).
• Understanding of cloud basics and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI agents and automation tools to solve business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into specs.
• Build and orchestrate LLM agents with prompt design and retrieval.
• Test agent behavior and handle uncertainty.
• Work on Power Platform stack (Power Apps, Automate, Pages, Dataverse) and lifecycle management.
• Integrate AI tools with enterprise systems via Graph, REST, SQL, SharePoint.
• Develop cloud-native skills on Azure and AWS.
• Support full delivery lifecycle from design to production.
• Triage defects and support live products.
• Adhere to AI risk, security, and data loss prevention policies.
• Document code and methodologies for maintainability and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in code reviews.
