Job summary

Johnson Controls UK is seeking a Sales Proposals Engineer for fire suppression to lead opportunity identification, develop technically sound and commercially compelling bids, and drive tender submissions from early engagement through to award.

You will collaborate with internal teams, present value solutions to mid to senior stakeholders, and build a robust pipeline using Salesforce, leveraging your experience in project-led environments to win complex fire suppression projects.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience in project-led or solutions-based environments.
• Strong experience preparing cost estimates, tenders and detailed proposals.
• Good technical understanding of fire suppression systems.
• Able to communicate value and present solutions clearly.
• Experience within the fire suppression industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and define suitable fire suppression solutions for each project.
• Prepare cost estimates and produce tender and proposal documents.
• Manage opportunities through bid processes from enquiry to submission.
• Engage with customers at mid to senior level, delivering technical and commercial presentations.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline using Salesforce.
• Support growth through improved conversion and successful project wins.
