Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Fire Safety Engineering Lead to drive fire safety strategies across mobility, building, and infrastructure projects. You will lead technical delivery, supervise multidisciplinary teams, and manage client relations while advancing safety standards and BIM-enabled design.

You will contribute to bids, mentorship, and continuous improvement, traveling within the UK and abroad as required to deliver high-quality solutions that align with NetZero and environmental goals.

Qualifications

• BEng/BSc or higher in Safety and Fire Engineering with professional registration preferred (IFE/CEng).
• 20+ years design experience on mobility, building and infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead and manage complex design projects and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for fire safety design on high-profile projects.
• Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams and manage client relationships.
• Drive innovation, standardization, and automation of fire engineering offerings.
• Support bids, reviews, and knowledge transfer across projects.
