Job summary

Arcadis in the UK is seeking a Senior Consultant and/or Principal Consultant to join our Fire Engineering team. The role focuses on Fire Safety Engineering work, desktop reviews on initial design stages and supporting fire safety discipline across building and rail projects.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, develop Fire Safety Strategy reports, perform risk assessments, and contribute to proposals. Chartered engineer or working toward Chartership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering/science field with professional recognition.
• Aspire to Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop Fire Safety Strategy reports.
• Conduct Means of Escape analysis and evacuation calculations.
• Understand and apply UK fire safety Regulations (AD B, BS9999/ BS7974/ BS9991).
• Support rail projects with fire safety standards (LUL/S1371, RSPG).
• Contribute to proposals and marketing materials for Fire Safety capabilities.
