Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Fire Safety Engineer to undertake fire safety engineering work across the UK and international projects. The role focuses on consultancy-based desktop reviews and supporting the fire safety discipline within multidisciplinary projects.

You will work predominantly in the building sector with potential involvement in rail projects, leading fire projects and mentoring junior staff, while continuously updating on regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Recent demonstrable experience in fire safety engineering across sectors.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience writing reports and presenting to clients/internal teams.
• Experience in a multi-disciplinary environment and working in mid-large teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire safety projects and project teams.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, project management and contractors to provide compliant fire engineering advice.
• Develop Fire Safety Strategy reports and Means of Escape analyses.
• Stay up-to-date with UK fire regulations and standards.
