Job summary

Grantley Hall is seeking a senior Front of House professional to lead service across our luxury dining rooms and bars. You will coordinate with kitchen, sommeliers and FOH peers to ensure seamless service, and you will be responsible for menu and wine knowledge, dietary accommodations and guest experience.

You will mentor junior staff and uphold the highest hygiene, presentation and safety standards in line with Forbes Travel Guide and Michelin expectations, while remaining poised under pressure

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication skills and guest interaction.
• Strong knowledge of food, beverage and wine service.
• Ability to lead a front-of-house team in a luxury setting.
• Experience in a senior front-of-house role preferred in luxury hotels or fine dining.

Responsibilities

• Deliver impeccable table service across our fine dining restaurants and bars, anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, sommeliers and other front of house staff to ensure seamless service flow and timely delivery of courses.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, wine lists and special dietary requirements, providing confident recommendations.
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, presentation and safety in accordance with Forbes Travel Guide and Michelin expectations.
• Mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative environment and encouraging continuous improvement.
• Handle guest feedback with professionalism, turning concerns into opportunities to reinforce our commitment to excellence.
• Contribute to the upkeep of the service area, ensuring it remains elegant, organised and ready for each service.
• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure with poise, attention to detail and high standards.
• Be flexible to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
