This role is primarily home-based, with occasional travel — typically no more than once a week to the Holborn London office, and infrequent in-person meetings in Pimlico or Bracknell — with all travel expenses reimbursed.
Key Responsibilities:

- Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with C-suite executives, department heads, and key stakeholders to drive financial and operational efficiency across the organisation.

Financial Oversight & Operational Excellence
- End-to-End Financial Operations Management: Ensure robust financial governance by overseeing all aspects of financial operations, including forecasting, reporting, and budget control.
- Advanced Data Analysis & Forecasting: Utilise financial models and predictive analytics to anticipate market trends, mitigate risks, and inform business decision-making.
- Operational Efficiency & Process Optimisation: Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging technology and automation to enhance productivity and reduce inefficiencies.
Cost Management & Compliance
- Budget Control & Cost Optimisation: Own the financial planning process, working closely with leadership to drive cost-saving initiatives and improve profit margins.
- Freelance & Vendor Management: Establish governance around freelancer engagement, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with project scopes and company policies.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and best practices, mitigating risks and maintaining financial integrity.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Advanced Utilisation & Performance Reporting: Develop and present high-level financial performance reports, ensuring insights are actionable for business growth.
- Audit & Financial Integrity: Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring financial data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Resource Allocation & Optimisation: Implement data-driven strategies for workforce planning, balancing operational needs with financial constraints.
Requirements
- Financial & Business Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
- Leadership & Team Management: Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams and driving a culture of excellence.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, collaborate with, and manage relationships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in financial and operational systems such as SAP, Excel, ERPs, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Change Management: Experience in leading operational change initiatives, including process automation and business transformation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
