You will lead month-end, statutory reporting, and the external audit, while guiding a small finance team. The post requires strong FRS 102 knowledge, UK statutory reporting, and governance across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FRS 102 and UK statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing/reviewing statutory accounts and managing external audits.
• Strong month-end close discipline and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the month-end close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Take ownership of statutory accounts and the year-end reporting process.
• Lead the external audit, acting as key contact for auditors.
• Provide technical accounting guidance across the business, including complex accounting matters.
• Maintain balance sheet control and financial governance across entities.
• Oversee financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Review and challenge accounting treatments and reporting requirements.
• Ensure robust financial controls, policies and processes.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen finance processes.
• Collaborate with senior finance and wider business stakeholders.
• Lead, coach and develop a small team of finance professionals.
