Job summary

CMC Consulting Ltd. is seeking an ambitious, fully qualified finance professional to join as a senior finance lead in Milton Keynes.

You will own the relationship with the outsourced accounting provider and drive the transition of finance operations in-house as the business scales. You will manage a team of accountants and transactions staff, lead monthly management accounts, and present financial insights to the executive team and board committees.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience managing financial operations, including oversight of outsourced partners.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills; autonomous work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee journals, reconciliations and month-end close with outsourced provider.
• Manage a team of part-qualified accountants and transactions finance professionals.
• Lead monthly management accounts and present insights to senior leadership and Board.
• Strengthen financial controls, policies and governance.

Job description

Our client are a high profile, rapidly expanding organisation. As they grow they have created a new role within the organisation for an ambitious qualified finance professional.

A newly created position offering the chance to help shape the financial and governance infrastructure of a fast-growing organisation. Finance is currently partly outsourced to an external accounting firm; this role owns that relationship and will lead the eventual transition of finance operations in-house.

• Background in high-growth or complex multi-stakeholder environments desirable
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills; comfortable working autonomously
