Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Senior Finance Manager for Legal Entity & Securitisation Control & Reporting in Edinburgh. This hybrid, full-time role leads teams across entity governance, statutory reporting and securitisation accounting, delivering robust controls and scalable processes using data, automation and technology.

You will shape the reporting framework, coordinate with auditors and boards, and drive continuous improvement while partnering with risk, tax and treasury to support

Qualifications

• Recognised accounting qualification or equivalent senior-level accounting experience.
• Strong statutory or external reporting, audit and financial control experience.
• Experience leading managers and diverse teams through demanding delivery cycles and change.
• Sound judgement on complex legal entity, securitisation, capital or valuation matters.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop managers across Legal Entity, Statutory Reporting, & Securitisation.
• Own the statutory reporting cycle across a broad subsidiary portfolio, including planning, tracking, review, audit co-ordination, Board support, filing and lessons learned.
• Provide senior oversight of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and reporting for securitisation vehicles.
• Lead legal entity governance, including entity data, attestations, reporting submissions, tagging, liquidations and ledger clean-up.
• Own and strengthen the control environment, including account ownership, substantiation, control documentation, risk assessment, QAR activity and escalation.
• Build trusted relationships with auditors, Company Secretariat, directors, Treasury, Finance Valuation Control, Tax, External Reporting and Regulatory Reporting.
• Provide technical oversight for complex instruments, transactions, valuations and reporting judgements.
• Drive statutory reporting improvement and wider transformation through standardisation, automation and AI.
