Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group in Edinburgh seeks an experienced Finance professional for the Lloyds Living External Reporting & Advisory team. You will support internal and external reporting requirements and help shape future processes using new technology.

As a part or fully qualified accountant, you will contribute to financial control and regulatory reporting in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on the Residential Property market.

Qualifications

• Part qualified or fully qualified accountant with experience in financial control.
• Experience in statutory or regulatory reporting and fast-paced environments.
• Experience of Financial Reporting within Residential Property market.

Responsibilities

• Identify shortcomings in processes, systems and procedures and support change programmes.
• Process complex data independently using established procedures and test new methods.
• Prepare and summarise complex documents using multiple applications (Power Apps).
• Complete financial control procedures and analyse monthly figures.
• Track progress and report variances to senior colleagues within finance systems.
• Conduct independent research on accounting standards and present findings.
