Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Lloyds Living External Reporting & Advisory team at Princess Exchange, Edinburgh. You will join an experienced finance function to support internal and external reporting, applying new technology to improve processes and shape future ways of working.

Day to day you'll identify process gaps, process complex data, prepare documentation using Power Apps, run financial control procedures and report variances to senior colleagues while

Qualificações

• Part Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant.
• Experience of either financial control, statutory or regulatory reporting.
• Experience of working within a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Identifying shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, then using established change management programmes to deliver prescribed outcomes and/or provide support services.
• Working independently to process complex data using established procedures and testing new procedures to see if they might represent improvements over existing methods.
• Organising and preparing complex documents by using multiple applications (such as Power Apps), while also gathering and summarising data for special reports.
• Completing financial control procedures and interrogating the reported monthly figures.
• Tracking progress and reporting variances to more senior colleagues while working within established finance systems.
• Performing independent research on emerging accounting standards and presenting findings to senior colleagues.
