ROLE OBJECTIVES

LIV Golf is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Assistant to join its Finance team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing invoicing, collections, and reconciliations while ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of accounts receivable processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic and fast-paced sports organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable (AR) process, including raising and issuing invoices, credit notes, and payment allocations.

· Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for sponsorships, broadcasting rights, and other revenue streams.

· Monitor outstanding accounts and proactively follow up on overdue payments to ensure prompt collections.

· Reconcile customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve any payment disputes.

· Work closely with internal departments such as Sales, Legal, and Operations to ensure revenue recognition aligns with contracts.

· Prepare AR reports, including aged debtors analysis, cash flow forecasting, and revenue tracking.

· Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing AR-related journal entries and reconciliations.

· Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

· Support the Director, Transactions with process improvements and system enhancements.

· Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for financial audits.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· Proven experience in an accounts receivable role, ideally within the sports, media, or entertainment industry.

· Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and revenue recognition.

· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and Excel.

· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Knowledge of IFRS or other financial reporting standards is a plus.

· AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
