Description: Permanent Senior Finance Assistant job in Perth, Salary up to £30,000 + bonus, hybrid working & good benefits

Your new company
Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of their established and exclusive client based in central Perth for a permanent Senior Finance Assistant to join their busy and growing team. Salary is £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience + up to 9% annual bonus, 34 days annual leave, excellent pension & hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days from home).
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Team Leader and working as part of a busy team, you will complete a variety of finance duties with a focus on banking & payments. You will review daily bank balances and complete bank reconciliations. You will deal with cash management, updating cashflows with current balances and payments due to be paid. You will review payment requests, process expenses and various other online payments. You will process journals, complete weekly forecasting and assist when required with accounts payable. You will liaise with various internal & external stakeholders, dealing with any queries quickly and effectively.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Accounts Assistant who is reliable, adaptable, keen to learn and who can work well on their own and as part of a team. You will ideally have experience with banking and / or bank reconciliations. Experience with cash management is advantageous but not essential. You will have good IT skills including Excel and you will be an excellent communicator with individuals at all levels both internally and externally.
