Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager for an established charity in Bristol. You will oversee offices and accommodation properties, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient operations across multi-site sites.

The role covers line management of Receptionists and Systems Administrator, budget control, and contract oversight, with a 37.5-hour week and a strong emphasis on health, safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a similar facilities/estate management role.
• Experience supervising staff and office administration functions.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and risk assessments.
• Experience establishing and managing facilities/service contracts.
• Knowledge of leases and property documentation.
• Experience overseeing building repairs and contractors.
• Strong organisational skills and multi-priority planning.
• Good IT skills and experience with computerized records.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of offices and facilities.
• Oversee repairs, planned and reactive maintenance across properties.
• Lead Health & Safety including risk assessments and compliance.
• Manage facilities contracts (cleaning, security, IT, utilities, etc.).
• Support leases, new premises, and property-related projects.
• Plan cyclical works with landlords and contractors.
• Manage facilities budgets and procurement for value-for-money.
• Coordinate mandatory Health & Safety training.
