Job summary

MBDA in Stevenage is seeking an experienced Export Contract Manager to lead the commercial interface with international government and military customers, delivering complex export contracts up to 1* level. The role reports to the Export Contract Management UK Executive and requires managing multiple cross-domain contracts.

Hybrid working 2-3 days on-site, salary circa £60,000–£70,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package including pension, private medical insurance and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading contract delivery in bid and execution phases.
• Experience in an international environment and with government/military customers.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial interface with international government and military customers for MBDA export contracts.
• Handle multiple cross-domain, geographically diverse contracts simultaneously.
• Deliver contract schedules to maximise customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
• Anticipate and resolve contract delivery issues through risk and opportunity management.
• Lead customer acceptance events, transport delivery solutions and contractual payments.
• Coordinate coherent communications with customers, government, industrial partners, and MBDA worldwide.
• Support Sales & Business Development to win new international business from existing and new customers.
• Collaborate with MBDA NATCOs in France, Spain and Italy on Inter-Company Trading export contracts.
