Job summary

MBDA is seeking an experienced engineer to drive export opportunities within the Group Export Sector of Sales & Business Development. The role focuses on delivering MBDA’s technical and winning solutions for international naval platforms, with a client-facing mandate and cross-functional collaboration.

The position offers hybrid working (1–2 days on-site), travel between Bristol and Stevenage, and potential company bonuses. Security clearance (BPSS) and UK nationality are required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Proven track record in engineering integration onto platforms and cost considerations.
• Ability to travel overseas and work across international teams.
• Strong communication, presentation and client-relations capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver MBDA’s technical export solutions.
• Promote MBDA capabilities to overseas clients and build Armed Forces relationships.
• Understand export customer needs and translate them into winning technical proposals.
• Interface with Shipyards and Combat System Integrators to align requirements.
• Represent MBDA at trade events and coordinate with project teams and stakeholders.
