Job summary

GCS Recruitment seeks a Level 3 EUC Support Engineer for a large-scale enterprise transformation in a highly regulated pharma environment. The role is onsite in Billingham, UK, five days a week, with migration and deployment activities across Windows endpoints and enterprise apps.

You will be the senior escalation point, coordinating with EUC, infrastructure, security, and project teams to ensure stability, security, and success of the workplace transformation program.

Qualifications

• Experience in Level 3 EUC, Desktop Engineering or Application Support.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with Windows enterprise applications and endpoint platforms.
• Background in large-scale IT transformation or deployment programmes.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based support environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 support for enterprise endpoint devices and applications across a complex IT environment.
• Act as the senior technical escalation point for EUC incidents.
• Design and implement technical solutions across the end-user computing landscape.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced application and endpoint issues.
• Support device migration and workplace transformation readiness activities.
• Investigate and remediate compatibility issues across Windows environments.
• Coordinate testing, validation, and user acceptance activities.
• Support software deployment, packaging, release management, and rollout activities.
• Collaborate with EUC, Infrastructure, Networking, Security, and Project teams.
• Analyse logs, performance metrics, and system behaviour for root cause analysis.
• Support incident, problem, change, and release management per ITIL.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Assist with lifecycle management, upgrades, patching, and decommissioning.
• Support migration cutovers and deployment scheduling.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and application owners for onboarding.
• Ensure enterprise applications meet security and operational standards.
