Job summary

MTR Partnership in the North West is expanding its Estimating team. They seek an experienced Estimator/Senior to support pre-con lead and develop junior team members, producing high-quality, accurate estimates for new build and refurbishment projects.

This office-based role offers a collaborative environment with Conquest Estimating Software training and a stable forward order book; you will chair tender adjudications and contribute to project tenders.

Qualifications

• Experienced estimator with relevant industry experience.
• Office-based role requiring collaboration in a family-friendly environment.
• IT literate with proficiency in estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality, accurate estimates for new build and refurbishment projects.
• Price from first principles and compare sub-contractor quotations.
• Package tender documents and liaise with subcontractors for quotations.
• Utilise Conquest Estimating Software (training provided).
• Attend Tender Adjudications and handover meetings with Pre-Construction Director.
• Produce site files and aid training of Junior Estimator.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth project operations.
• Attend related training courses.
