Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Senior Estimator for projects across the North West England (Manchester / Liverpool) with travel. A permanent role offering a highly competitive salary plus benefits, including a company car or cash allowance and flexible working options.

The North West team handles projects in education, healthcare and community/residential sectors. The role requires a minimum HNC, the ability to take-off quantities, and proficiency with Conquest estimating

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC standard qualification.
• Right to work in the UK must be provided or obtained.
• Full UK driving licence to travel between projects.
• Experience as Senior Estimator or Estimator seeking step up.
• Able to take-off quantities and cost planning knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support the bid team to meet deadlines and secure competitive quotes.
• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates and cost plans.
• Interpret benchmark data and tender documents for the team.
• Communicate bid strategy and solutions to the construction team.

An opportunity for a Senior Estimator has arisen with a large Tier one main contractor. They have an increase in secured frameworks and would like to increase their Estimating team.

Required

• You will need to be able to provide or obtain the right to work in the UK.


• You will need to be able to drive and provide or obtain a full UK Driving Licence to travel across our projects.


• Are you an experienced Senior Estimator or Estimator and looking for that step up in your career?


• You will have a HNC standard qualification as a minimum.


• Be able to demonstrate ability to take-off quantities and be proficient in using Conquest estimating software, creating Excel reports and have cost planning knowledge and experience.


• Support the bid team to achieve deadlines and obtain the most competitive quotes by understanding current market trends.


• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates and cost plans.


• Utilise, interpret and represent benchmark data and assess tender documentation, requirements and report findings to team.


• Effectively communicate bid strategy and solutions to construction team.
