Job summary

Eden Scott is seeking a Senior Estimator for a Manchester / Carlisle role with site visits. Lead the tender process from enquiry to handover, producing detailed cost analysis and risk assessments while mentoring junior estimators.

The candidate will build client relationships and coordinate with project teams to secure profitable contracts. The role requires strong estimating experience in painting, decorating, fit-out or related trades, with excellent communication and software skills.

Qualifications

• Strong estimating experience in painting & decorating, internal finishing, fit-out, specialist coatings or a related construction trade.
• Solid understanding of drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities
• Ability to manage multiple tenders in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Essential experience with estimating software, CRM systems and Excel

Responsibilities

Senior Estimator - Manchester / Carlisle

Location: Manchester / Carlisle & Site Visits

Reports to: Commercial Director

Are you an experienced Estimator / Senior Estimator ready to take the lead on high-quality tenders and play a key role in a growing business?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative commercial team, taking ownership of the full tender lifecycle while helping to secure profitable, strategically aligned projects.

What you’ll be doing:
