Job summary

MTRP Ltd, a well-established family-owned building contractor in the North West, is seeking an experienced Estimator/Senior to support the pre-con lead and mentor junior team members.

You’ll produce high-quality, accurate estimates for new build and refurbishment projects, manage take-offs, price from first principles and liaise with subcontractors to secure quotations, while contributing to tender adjudications and project handover.

Qualifications

• Experienced Estimator with relevant industry experience.
• Office-based role in a family-friendly organisation.
• IT literate and able to work in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality, accurate estimates for new build and refurbishment projects.
• Pricing from first principles and prepare tender documents with subcontractor quotes.
• Take-offs, breakdown of pricing and packaging tender documents for handover.
• Liaise with subcontractors to obtain quotations and attend tender adjudications.
• Assist training and progression of junior estimators and support team.
