We're looking for a Senior Estimator to join our Natural Resources Team, focusing on Civils. You'll cover estimating duties on our new Wessex Water framework.

Location: With remote working, you'll be able to travel to client sites and offices across the Wessex Water contract, which covers Bristol to Bournemouth. Your main office location will be Exeter, which you will be required to visit regularly.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know.

What are my responsibilities?

As a Civils Senior Estimator, you'll work closely with our framework delivery team and the client to deliver value-for-money solutions for the Civils elements of work in line with framework requirements.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Input into all aspects of the pre-construction phase of projects, including early contractor involvement and pre-work prior to tenders arriving.
• Preparing multi-discipline tender pricing with the ability to produce varying levels of pricing, from top-down budgets to bottom-up lump sums or targets.
• Reading and understanding client specifications and drawings, considering site safety, health, quality, and environmental issues.
• Attending internal and external review and progress meetings, as well as site visits.
• Determining preliminary and detailed project requirements and solutions, including programmes and value engineering, with identification of risks and opportunities.

What are we looking for?

This Senior Estimator role is ideal if you have:

• A proven track record of successfully delivering tenders/pricing of varying sizes and complexities in the water industry, managing a portfolio within a framework environment.
• Experience in the pre-construction phase, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities quickly.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills, with a good understanding of client requirements and commercial awareness.
• Experience working on construction projects, preferably in the water industry, with knowledge of processes and mechanical and electrical assets used within the Water Industry.
