Senior Estimator - Natural Resources Team

We're seeking a Senior Estimator to join our Natural Resources Team, focusing on Civils. You will be responsible for estimating duties on our new Southern Water framework.

Location: Remote working is available, with travel to client sites and offices across the Southern Water contract as needed.

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time. Flexible and part-time hours may be available upon request.

Responsibilities

As a Civils Senior Estimator, you will collaborate closely with our framework delivery team and the client to deliver value-for-money solutions for the Civils components, in line with framework requirements. Your daily tasks will include:

• Contributing to all aspects of the pre-construction phase, including early contractor involvement and pre-tender preparations.
• Preparing multi-discipline tender pricing, capable of producing various levels of detail from top-down budgets to bottom-up lump sums.
• Reviewing client specifications and drawings, considering site safety, health, quality, and environmental issues.
• Attending review and progress meetings, as well as site visits.
• Identifying project requirements, solutions, risks, and opportunities, including program development and value engineering.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

• A proven track record in delivering tenders of varying complexity and managing multiple projects within a framework environment.
• Experience in the pre-construction phase, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities quickly.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a good understanding of client needs and commercial awareness.
