Job summary

Centre People Appointments is seeking an experienced ERP Sales Account Manager to drive new business in ERP consulting and managed services across the UK. You will identify opportunities, engage senior stakeholders, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in ERP software or IT sales, strong ERP process knowledge, and a proven ability to engage CIOs and finance directors to win multi‑£50k to £1m+ deals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in ERP software or IT consulting sales.
• Strong understanding of ERP-enabled business processes.
• Experience translating business requirements into ERP-related service proposals.
• Experience with ERP testing strategies, including UAT, regression, performance, and operational readiness testing.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the ERP and IT services markets.
• Generate qualified opportunities through networks, industry contacts, referrals, and marketing activities.
• Build and manage relationships with CIOs, IT Directors, ERP Managers, Finance Directors, and other senior stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, Statements of Work, and commercial offers.
• Work with consulting, delivery, and technical teams to develop tailored customer solutions.
• Manage sales pipelines, forecasts, CRM updates, and opportunity reporting.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, close sales, and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Maintain existing client relationships and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
