Job summary

Data Careers Ltd is seeking a Senior ERP Project Manager to lead large ERP implementation and transformation programmes within a technology consultancy environment. The role focuses on delivering complex engagements, managing senior stakeholders and ensuring successful go-lives.

The ideal candidate has extensive ERP delivery experience in consultancy or professional services, with strong budgeting, forecasting and change-control capabilities, and a track record of cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering ERP implementation projects is essential.
• Proven track record of managing large, complex ERP implementations.
• Background in ERP consultancy, SI or professional services is preferred.
• Strong commercial project management experience including budgets, forecasting and change control.
• Experience engaging with senior executives and C-level stakeholders.
• Experience managing project recovery and difficult customer situations.
• Leadership skills coordinating multidisciplinary teams and mentoring other PMs.
• Experience with ERP platforms like Unit4, SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, NetSuite is advantageous.
• PRINCE2, MSP, APM or PMP qualifications would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex ERP implementation projects.
• Own high-profile customer engagements within scope, time, budgets and objectives.
• Manage senior customer relationships including executives and sponsors.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate consultants, partners and customer resources.
• Oversee project financial performance including budgets and margins.
• Identify and manage project risks, dependencies and scope changes.
• Lead recovery for projects facing delivery difficulties.
• Oversee ERP go-live, transition and user adoption activities.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to other Project Managers.
• Contribute to proposals, estimates and Statements of Work.
