Loom Talent is recruiting a Senior Employee Relations Partner for a large, established transport/logistics business. The role focuses on leading complex ER matters in a heavily unionised environment, combining strong technical ER knowledge with the ability to influence and coach across the HR and business stakeholder network.

You will help managers build confidence, drive best practices, and move the ER function toward a more proactive, data-driven approach.

Competenze

• Strong background in Employee Relations (ER).
• Experience operating in a unionised environment with Trade Unions.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment legislation and its practical application.
• Ability to balance strategic and hands-on ER work.

Mansioni

• Act as senior point of contact for complex, high-risk ER matters; advise HR colleagues and stakeholders.
• Coach and upskill managers to take ownership of ER and improve decision-making.
• Use data to identify ER trends and drive process improvements across the business.
• Support development of ER policies, processes and guidance for consistency.
• Build effective relationships with Trade Union representatives and stakeholders in a unionised environment.
• Provide guidance on complex absence, occupational health, flexible working, disciplinaries and grievances.
