Job summary

Arriva TrainCare, London operation, seeks a Senior Employee Relations Partner to guide complex ER matters and advise senior leaders. You will champion policy, governance and best practice across the business while coordinating with ER colleagues to drive compliant, commercially minded outcomes.

You will coach leaders and HR teams, manage high-risk cases, and partner on organisational change and engagement initiatives within a fast-paced, unionised environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior Employee Relations, HR Business Partner or specialist ER role in a complex, unionised and fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing complex, high-risk ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances and tribunals.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ability to apply it commercially.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee highly complex, high-risk ER cases with policy and legal compliance.
• Act as escalation point for ER Partners and HR teams, coaching stakeholders.
• Partner with senior leaders to develop proactive ER strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Analyse ER data to identify trends, risks and opportunities to reduce case volumes.
• Develop ER policies, governance and manager toolkits to ensure best practice.
