Job summary

Arriva is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Business Partner to shape and deliver the ER agenda across our UK depots. You will advise senior leaders, guide complex cases, and drive proactive ER strategies aligned with business objectives to improve employee engagement and performance.

The role requires strong coaching, governance, and data-driven insights, with extensive experience in employee relations, union engagement, and change programmes within a large organisation.

Qualifications

• Senior Employee Relations experience in a large, complex and unionised environment.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing strategic decisions.
• Strong analytical capability with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead on complex, high-risk ER matters with senior stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor HR colleagues to build capability and best practice.
• Develop ER policies, governance and manager guidance.
• Support organisational change programmes and restructures.
• Ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation in ER activity.
