Job summary
Dalcour Maclaren is seeking a Senior Planner to lead environmental planning services for projects with varying sensitivities, preparing and coordinating feasibility studies, screening, scoping and planning applications. You will build relationships with client teams, specialists and Local Authority officers, and support business development.
You will hold a planning degree with MRTPI, possess strong analytical and communication skills, GIS knowledge, and a UK driving licence.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and presentation skills with clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to write and contribute to fee proposals for multi-disciplinary projects.
- Good knowledge of GIS systems and environmental disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of environmental planning services for projects with varying environmental sensitivities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with client teams, specialists, and Local Authority planning officers.
- Take ownership of team performance, deadlines and continuous improvement in delivery.
- Support business development and cross-sell wider company services.
- Mentor junior staff and participate in learning and CPD.
