Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren is seeking a Chartered Planner to join our Environmental & Planning team in the UK. You will deliver environmental planning services, support infrastructure projects, and coordinate with client teams, technical specialists and Local Authority officers.

Hold a planning degree and RTPI accreditation, or be working towards it. You will prepare planning applications and statements, contribute to fee proposals, and develop your technical knowledge through CPD while upholding DM

Qualifications

• Hold a planning degree and RTPI accreditation or be working towards it.
• Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and environmental policy.
• Ability to prepare concise planning reports and coordinate inputs.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver environmental planning services including feasibility, screening, scoping, and coordination.
• Prepare planning applications, statements and technical reports.
• Support infrastructure project delivery across utilities and infrastructure sectors.
• Liaise with client teams, specialists, and Local Authority officers; attend meetings.
• Assist business development; contribute to fee proposals and cross-sell services.
• Maintain technical knowledge through CPD and RTPI accreditation progress.
• Support the Environmental & Planning team and uphold DM values.
• Comply with legal and policy requirements.
