Dalcour Maclaren is seeking a Chartered Planner to deliver environmental planning services, feasibility work and planning applications across UK projects. You will coordinate surveys, liaise with clients, specialists and Local Authorities, and contribute to fee proposals while advancing RTPI accreditation.

The role emphasizes strong analytical and written communication skills, with a focus on policy compliance and delivering high-quality outputs for infrastructure and utilities projects.

Qualifications

• Hold a planning degree and pursue RTPI accreditation.
• Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and legislation.
• Excellent written and verbal report skills.
• Experience coordinating surveys and data with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver environmental planning services and feasibility work.
• Prepare planning applications, supporting statements, and reports.
• Support infrastructure project delivery and consent strategies.
• Liaise with client teams, specialists, and Local Authorities.
• Contribute to fee proposals and service development.
• Maintain technical knowledge and pursue RTPI accreditation.
• Support the Environmental & Planning team on projects.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.
