WSP is seeking a Principal Environmental Permitting Consultant to lead complex permitting, compliance and regulatory projects across energy, waste, industrial and utilities sectors. You will provide technical leadership, oversee permit applications and related reports, and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in environmental permitting, compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong technical expertise in Environmental Permitting Regulations and policy.
• Proven experience leading complex permit applications and regulatory submissions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets and programmes.
• Experience developing and maintaining trusted client relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and proactive growth focus.
• Experience mentoring and developing colleagues.
• Excellent communication with clients, regulators and teams.
• Chartered status or pathway toward it.

Responsabilités

• Lead delivery of complex permitting, compliance and regulatory projects across diverse client base.
• Provide technical leadership on major projects and oversee permit applications and supporting reports.
• Undertake legal compliance and audit assessments for projects.
• Act as trusted advisor to clients navigating regulatory requirements.
• Manage project delivery, support business development and nurture client relationships.
