Job summary

WSP is seeking a Principal Environmental Permitting Consultant to lead complex permitting projects across energy, waste, and industrial sectors in the UK. You will drive regulatory submissions and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

You will work from our national offices with a focus on delivering high-quality, compliant solutions while developing enduring client relationships and contributing to our growth strategy.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in environmental permitting, compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong leadership for major projects and ability to oversee permit applications and regulatory submissions.
• Experience developing trusted client relationships and identifying opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex permitting and regulatory projects.
• Oversee preparation of Environmental Permit applications and supporting reports.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and engage with multidisciplinary teams.
