Job summary

WSP is seeking a Principal Environmental Permitting Consultant to lead complex permitting, compliance and regulatory projects across energy, energy transition, waste, industrial, manufacturing and utilities sectors in the UK.

You will provide technical leadership, oversee permit applications, conduct risk assessments and support regulatory audits, while mentoring junior colleagues and helping build long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working within environmental permitting, compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead preparation and delivery of complex permit applications and regulatory submissions.
• Experience mentoring, coaching and developing junior colleagues.
• Strong communication to engage with clients, regulators and project teams.

• Oversee preparation of Environmental Permit applications and supporting reports.
