Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Technical Author, Technical Writer or Engineering Documentation role.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, energy, aerospace, defence or similar technical env.
• Strong ability to interpret technical information and communicate to varied audiences.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain high-quality technical docs (operating instructions, service manuals, guides).
• Collaborate with engineers to gather and structure technical information.
• Create and modify illustrations and diagrams from CAD data.
• Develop documentation sets to support product releases and changes.
• Review docs for clarity, consistency, usability improvements.
• Manage revisions, approvals and version control.
• Ensure docs meet standards, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Document engineering processes and best practices for knowledge sharing.
• Maintain document libraries and controlled records.
• Liaise with stakeholders to keep docs current with product development.
