Formula One Management Limited seeks a Mechanical Engineering Technical Author to join the Mechanical Engineering & Design team. You will deliver high-quality technical documentation and support governance activities for design reviews and project milestones.

You will collaborate with engineers, designers and cross-functional teams to translate complex content into clear, accurate documents. You will manage document control, maintain registers, and ensure compliance with internal standards while

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Masters in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• CEng registered with IMechE or IED.
• Experience producing technical documentation in an engineering environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, author and maintain high-quality mechanical engineering technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, work instructions, test procedures and release documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and cross-functional teams to translate complex engineering content into clear documents.
• Manage document control, versioning, traceability and change records.
• Prepare documentation packs, status reports and evidence for design reviews and audits.
• Update legacy documents to reflect engineering changes and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality and supply chain to support build, inspection and validation activities.
• Maintain document registers and reporting trackers across engineering workstreams.
• Ensure documentation is produced to high professional standards with accuracy and confidentiality.
